an approaching east to west oriented cold front north of the
waters will stall near Cape Lookout overnight...returning north
as a warm front on Tuesday. Southwest winds will increase Tuesday
into Wednesday ahead of stronger cold front that will cross the
waters Wednesday night. Blustery west and northwest winds will
follow the front Thursday as high pressure build into the region.

Tue Night... S winds 20 to 25 kt. Gusts up to 35 kt after midnight. Seas 5 to 8 ft...building to 6 to 9 ft after midnight. Near shore... seas 3 to 5 ft...building to 5 to 7 ft after midnight.
