Cunene River to Walvis Bay:
wind : S to SW 10 to 20 at first and towards the end of the
period, otherwise S to se 10 to 15 in the south.
Vis : poor in fog patches at first and towards the end of the
period.

Walvis Bay to the Orange River:
wind : S to SW 10 to 15 reaching 20 at first.
Vis : poor in fog patches at first and towards the end of the
period.

Orange River to cape agulhas:
wind : W to NW 05 to 10 but se to S 15 to 20 in the extreme
south where it will reach 25.
Vis : good but poor in fog patches in the north at first and
towards the end of the period.
Sea state: 2.5m at first in the extreme south subsiding, with se
swell.

Cape Agulhas to east london:
wind : se to E 15 to 20 reaching 25 to 30 at first west of port
Alfred.
Vis : good.
Sea state: 2.5m subsiding from towards the end of the period, with
mainly se swell.

East London to Maputo:
wind : se 10 to 15 at first in the north, otherwise NE 10 to 15
in the south spreading northwards and reaching 20 in the
north from towards the end of the period.
Vis : good but poor in showers and thundershowers at first and
towards the end of the period along kwazulu-Natal coast.
Sea state: 2.5m in the extreme south at first subsiding, with S to
se swell.

Mozambique channel:
wind : N to NW 10 to 15, otherwise NE 05 to 10 but se 10 to 15
in the south.
Vis : good.
