A red flag warning remains in effect from 10 am to 6 PM CST
Wednesday.
Southwest winds will range from 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to
35 mph. Afternoon humidities will fall into the upper teens and
lower 20s as temperatures climb into the mid to upper 70s. These
weather conditions in conjunction with dry fuels will create a
critical fire weather danger.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are very likely to occur. A combination of strong winds... low
relative humidity... and dry vegetation will create explosive fire
growth potential. Avoid all outside burning and welding on
Wednesday. Do not toss lit cigarette Butts outside. Report wild
fires to the nearest Fire Department or law enforcement office.
