Fire Weather Watch
Issued by the National Weather Service at 2:11 PM MDT on March 18, 2010/
... Fire Weather Watch remains in effect from Friday afternoon
through Friday evening...
A Fire Weather Watch remains in effect from Friday afternoon
through Friday evening.
The combination of relative humidity values dropping into the
teens... warm dry air... and 20 foot winds of 20 mph or greater
may possibly result in critical fire weather conditions Friday
afternoon and early Friday evening.
Although cooling temperatures will likely alleviate critical fire
weather conditions Friday evening... winds will abruptly shift
to the north Friday night behind a strong cold front.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are possible. Listen for later forecasts and possible red flag
warnings.
