this evening...
The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a
Wind Advisory... which is in effect from 6 am this morning to 8 PM
CDT this evening.
A strong cold front pushing through south central Texas this morning
will bring blustery north winds to the region today. Northerly
winds will increase to 25 to 35 mph with higher gusts of 35 to 45
mph behind the cold front. Therefore a Wind Advisory is in effect
from 6 am until 8 PM this evening. Winds will subside to 15 to 20
mph after 8 PM.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 26 to 39 mph are
expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult...
especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
