Freeze Watch
Issued by the National Weather Service at 3:51 am CST on November 21, 2008

... Freeze watch in effect from late tonight through Saturday
morning...

The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a freeze
watch... which is in effect from late tonight through Saturday
morning.

A cold Canadian airmass settling into the region tonight will
result in the first potential widespread freezing temperatures of
the season. Low temperatures of 28 to 32 degrees are possible
generally along and north of a line from Kountze to Morgan City.

A freeze watch means sub-freezing temperatures are possible.
These conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
