Fire Weather Warning
Issued by the National Weather Service at 9:08 PM CDT on March 19, 2010

... Red flag warning in effect from 1 PM to 9 PM CDT Saturday due
to low relative humidities and gusty northwest winds...

The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a red
flag warning... which is in effect from 1 PM to 9 PM CDT Saturday.
The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

A strong cold front will push through south Texas Saturday
afternoon. A combination of strong north/northwesterly 20 foot
winds of 20 to 30 mph and relative humidity values at or below 30
percent will develop in wake of the frontal passage... mainly along
and west of Highway 281. These conditions will lead to a high fire
danger threat.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Please advise the appropriate officials and fire crews in the
field of this red flag warning.
