Dense Fog Advisory
Issued by the National Weather Service at 3:44 PM CST on March 9, 2010

... Dense fog advisory in effect from 10 PM this evening to 9 am
CST Wednesday...

The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a dense
fog advisory... which is in effect from 10 PM this evening to 9 am
CST Wednesday. Counties included in the advisory are Live Oak...
Bee... Goliad... Victoria... Jim Wells... Kleberg... Nueces... San
Patricio... Aransas... Refugio and Calhoun.

Areas of sea fog will eventually move inland over the coastal
counties later tonight. Also... with the help of radiational
cooling... radiation fog is also expected to form especially
farther inland. This combination is expected to produce widespread
fog overnight and into Wednesday morning... with most locations
expected to have visibilities of less than 1/2 mile by sunrise.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means that fog has reduced visibilities to
one-quarter of a mile or less for 2 or more hours.
